Captain’s Log: Colleen’s AVM Adventures Day 17

Really, really… really, really long weekend. Haven’t finished/posted an update in a while because I haven’t felt like there’s much to say… or maybe it’s more accurate to say that I’ve been too tired to write. The surgeons/major care docs come around at 5:15AM and the day ends at 11PM. I’m bushwacked. I should nap but I’ve been reading these books… I’m just trying to devour info.

I’m jotting down little notes of funny things here and there so I don’t lose track.

Seriously though, not much to report. Thinking about trying to get her up with a walker. She still can’t see straight so… that could be… hilarious. Mom still hasn’t *quite* made it through three meals a day. But it’s healthier to just snack all day anyway, right?!? Didn’t remember her grand-kids names or birthday months today… but the exhaustion of never getting more than 1.5 hours uninterrupted sleep is definitely taking its toll on her… Today she was definitely more confused than she’s been…

There were some tests over the holiday weekend, hoping to learn more about results in… oh, look at that, just a few hours…

So I’m going to drool all over myself for a few hours and then guzzle the closest thing to straight caffeinated motor oil that I can find in a few hours… and then I SWEAR I will write something more satisfying.

Life's too short for decaf coffee or annoying emails.

What I can't promise is regular, weekly emails. What I can promise is sporadic, humorous updates with a serious amount of gorgeous glassy adventures inside. Occasionally, there might even be a chance to join me for a cup o' coffee. (The really caffeinated kind!)
